Description Summary

The Private Bank Service Specialist II is responsible for the day‑to‑day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. Partners with one or more Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to high‑net‑worth clients. The Service Specialist II maintains a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence for our clients, while maintaining focus on identifying, assessing, and managing risk and adhering to policies and procedures.

Service coverage includes Private Banking, Trust, and Investment Management.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Handle day‑to‑day activities and interactions with clients regarding establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing of relationships, including personal and business deposit accounts, wealth & investment management accounts, consumer lending, and mortgages.
  • Work directly with clients and/or Wealth Advisors to obtain required applicant and financial information or other documentation for new accounts, loans, and servicing requests.
  • Provide detailed account information to customers and build rapport.
  • Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex account problems.
  • Conduct proactive monthly outreach to clients and participate in Calling Days.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Notary Public (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service, highly motivated, goal‑oriented, focused
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow‑up
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Capable of working independently
  • Administrative experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of Huntington applications
Exempt Status

No exempt status; eligible for overtime pay.
