Job Description

Job Responsibilities- Acquire, retain and deepen a portfolio of approximately 40-50 business clients and 60 prospects with annual revenue greater than ~$3 million; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to $15 million; support branch-based business bankers on sizeable credit deals as needed.
- Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized banking solutions tailored to their businesses.
- Grow portfolio by prospecting for new clients in expansion mode; utilize referral networks and centers of influence to independently identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Develop a strong referral network internally in partnership with Private Bank, Asset Wealth Management, Middle Market and One Chase to identify new opportunities for all partners.
- Leverage knowledge of diverse businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts, and creative marketing techniques to develop business networks and prospects.
- Build relationships with clients, prospects and centers of influence through in-person/virtual calls to understand their needs and develop the full financial relationship.
- Understand the personal financial goals of owners; partner with Branch, Wealth Management and Private Bank to deliver appropriate personal solutions.
- Partner with product specialists to ensure seamless onboarding and end-to-end delivery of new accounts and services; leverage the service team for outstanding client experience.
- Protect the firm by following sound risk management protocols, control policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
- Strong current business network with active community involvement such as Chambers of Commerce or non-profit boards.
- Demonstrated tactical business development and negotiation skills; self‑directed, proactive, creative, and able to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills at all levels; ability to influence others and leverage technology for client interaction.
- In-depth knowledge of deposit and cash management products, business credit underwriting, and commercial credit training; offers comprehensive solutions and monitors market trends.
- Balance client needs with associated risks and firm interests.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years managing clients with revenue >$10 million.
- In-depth knowledge of diverse business types, industries, markets, and economic concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
