As a Relationship Banker II, you will build and maintain relationships with clients, provide exceptional client service, and recommend banking products and digital solutions. You will also act as a trusted advisor, fostering strong rapport with customers and colleagues while upholding the bank’s standards of respect and professionalism.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain client relationships to support business growth.
- Communicate effectively, motivating and responding to client needs.
- Perform detailed, accurate work within established guidelines.
- Participate in maintaining and enforcing banking policies and procedures.
- Introduce clients to new products, services, and digital tools such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops.
- Assist other departments as needed and maintain a customer‑centric approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and driving history that meets the bank’s driver standards (excluding learner’s or restricted licenses).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Previous banking, cash handling, or financial service experience.
- At least 1 year of successful sales experience.
- Proficiency in a second language.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Logical thinking and sound decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with multiple computer and software systems.
- Basic math skills for calculating figures and percentages.
- Self‑starter who is passionate about client education on banking products and digital technologies.
- Commitment to meritocracy and internal growth opportunities.
- May require physical activity such as lifting, bending, and holding objects overhead.
- Work overtime as needed (typically no more than 5%) and flexible scheduling based on business needs.
This role offers a scorecard‑based incentive plan that can significantly increase overall compensation; incentives are earned quarterly based on performance metrics.
