Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical finance professional with at least five years of accounting or finance experience and a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting. They should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while providing accurate financial insights and supporting strategic business initiatives.

Position Overview
The Finance Manager will support Finance Strategy and Operations by managing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and month-end activities. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial information, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly expense accruals
• Generate monthly financial reports
• Prepare and review monthly variance analysis and commentary
• Prepare and review monthly expense forecasts
• Support annual budget preparation activities
• Assist with strategic planning initiatives
• Contribute to management reporting processes
• Handle ad hoc financial analyses, assignments, and special projects as needed
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting deliverables

• Month-end accrual preparation and review
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Forecasting and budget tracking
• Variance investigation and commentary preparation
• Responding to business and leadership requests
• Completing special financial projects and analyses

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with financial forecasting, reporting, and budgeting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency preferred)
• General computer proficiency
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices

• Experience managing financial planning and analysis activities
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders
