Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full‑time employment opportunity for a senior level Associate in the Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. The position can be based in our Miami, DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix or Dallas office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Greenberg Traurig’s Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice comprises more than 80 attorneys throughout the United States and in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Our department’s global platform distinctly positions us to address the needs of both domestic and international clients. We continue to build on a practice base that, while very broad, is nonetheless refined to serve the unique industry, practice, and jurisdictional needs of our diverse client base.
Qualifications- Minimum of 6 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience, particularly in banking, money services businesses, payment systems, and Fin Tech firms.
- Experience with licensing/chartering and knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations, such as BSA/AML, sanctions, third‑party risk management, and consumer compliance. Enforcement experience is a plus.
- Strong academic background and excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to take on significant responsibility, a strong commitment to client service, and a diligent, proactive, and team‑oriented mindset.
- Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Compensation and BenefitsThe Expected Pay Range For This Position Is $260, per year.
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job‑related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials where market pay differs from the national average. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
