Finance Associate (3–6 Years Experience)
A leading international law firm is seeking a Finance Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its sophisticated and highly regarded finance practice. The group advises clients across a broad range of complex financing transactions and works with participants throughout the capital structure, including borrowers, lenders, investors, sponsors, financial institutions, and other market participants.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, gain exposure to current market developments, and collaborate with attorneys handling sophisticated financing matters across multiple industries.
Qualifications- 3–6 years of relevant finance experience at a national/AMLaw firm.
- Significant experience representing borrowers, lenders, private equity sponsors, funds, and/or administrative agents in a broad range of financing transactions.
- Experience with acquisition financings, recapitalizations, refinancings, restructurings, and related corporate finance matters.
- Exposure to middle-market lending and alternative capital providers, including private credit funds, business development companies (BDCs), hedge funds, and other non-bank lenders, is a plus.
- Ability to manage key aspects of transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating deal processes, and assisting through closing.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and project management skills with the ability to work effectively within deal teams.
