SummaryProvide analytical and technical support across multiple functions in the finance department including corporate finance, planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Energy Transfer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance management reporting for senior management.
- Support the company‑wide annual planning process and subsequent monthly forecasting process.
- Provide corporate and G&A expense variance analysis including budget vs. actual, quarter vs. quarter, current year vs. prior year.
- Provide support of our TM1 production and development environments, supporting multiple users, maintaining existing dimensions, and managing user access/security.
- Provide support for earnings releases, 10‑K, 10‑Q, and other external financial reporting.
- Prepare headcount and capital tracking reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 0‑2 years of relevant work experience; degree in Finance, MIS, or Mathematics preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, MIS, Mathematics, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be highly proficient with MS Excel.
- High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Self‑starter with ability to learn quickly.
- The Associate Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 0‑2 years of relevant job‑related experience.
- The Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2‑5 years of relevant job‑related experience.
- The Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5‑8 years of relevant job‑related experience.
- The Lead Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job‑related experience.
- IBM Cognos TM1 experience preferred, but not required to apply. However, this role is responsible for TM1 support so the willingness to learn is required.
- SAP experience preferred, but not required.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
