Essential Responsibilities:- Provides Financial/Clinical consulting to clients with respect to their employee benefit health and welfare plans;
Responsible for presenting financial/clinical data to clients. - Runs and Analyzes client monthly financial reporting (MFSR) and presents MFSRs to clients.
- Provides complex reporting, presenting results to clients.
- Participates in development of financial reporting enhancements.
- Assists in development of new CLUE reporting.
- Takes prominent role in the development and enhancements of new and existing client budget, financial and clinical analysis and tools.
- Builds and maintains Financial/Clinical models to support client account teams; mentors and trains junior staff, as necessary.
- Recommends complex strategic and tactical initiatives based upon clinical and financial data.
- Education:
High school diploma; college degree preferred. - Experience:
5-7 years applicable experience, preferably in the insurance industry [at a brokerage or provider organization]. - Licensing :
Active state specific Life & Health Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire. - Skills & Technical
Competencies:
Key skills for effective client consulting include a solid grasp of insurance principles to meet strategic needs, strong client management to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions, and sharp analytical abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
