Position Overview

As a Loan Closing Analyst Senior – Commercial within PNC's Real Estate organization, you will be based at one of our posted locations.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Affordable Housing program documentation, including LURAs/Regulatory Agreements, Bond Indentures, and related programmatic documents. You will lead internal and external call coordination, review and report on monthly construction monitoring reports, and manage complex bond closing timelines, rate locks, closing conditions, and Preliminary Operating Statement requirements.
- Closes varied and more complex loans without supervision and disburses loan funds.
- Prepares and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy with discretion.
- Independently weighs financial risks and verifies work processes to ensure compliance with service levels and policies.
- Reviews complex loan‑closing documentation and approves based on required documentation.
- Shares best practices with team members and recommends process improvements.
- Represents the department on projects and initiatives.
- Participates on deal teams with negotiations of legal documentation.
- Reviews and validates due diligence associated with projects or transactions.
- Partners with internal and/or external business partners to route communications, documents, or action items to complete transactions.
- Identifies and addresses exceptions, escalates appropriately.
- Interacts with customers and/or manages assigned accounts or portfolios.
- Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad‑hoc requests.
- Completes loan setup sheets and other necessary documentation for entry into the bank’s loan system.
- Schedules time frames at discretion for loan closings in light of commitments and customer needs.
- University or college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience including military service may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of capital management, compliance requirements, corporate accounting, credit assessment, and customer experience.
- Proficiency in documentation, due diligence, and process improvements.
- Competencies in data gathering and analysis, decision making, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, negotiating, operational functions, planning and organizing, problem management, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience with Affordable Housing program documentation and bond closing processes.
Base Salary: $52,500.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
