Responsibilities

As a Commercial and Specialty Banking Relationship Manager III, you will ensure the overall success and growth of an assigned portfolio by deepening relationships with existing clients and acquiring new clients. You will cross‑sell lending, depository, and Treasury Management products, review clients’ credit needs, design solutions, negotiate credit terms and collateral, manage the existing portfolio, monitor compliance with credit standards, update financials, maintain insurance on collateral, review loans for accurate grades, and handle relationships greater than $2 million in credit exposure and over $25,000 in fee income.

In addition, you will provide financial advice and counsel regarding business and banking trends, review loan documents for compliance with policy and regulations, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, build rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of status.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field or combination of education and work experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Good managerial, communication and sales skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA or master’s degree in business, finance or related field or combination of education and work experience.
  • 15+ years of Commercial or Specialty experience.
  • 15+ years of commercial credit experience.
  • Completed formal credit training program.
  • Strong communication and sales skills.
Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build peer and/or team cohesiveness to deliver the full complement of bank products and services.
  • Self‑directed and motivated to accomplish tasks, meet objectives and committed timelines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues.
