Role:
Solera is undertaking a multi‑year project to migrate our global AX 2012 instance to D365 F&O. The Senior Dynamics System Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing and supporting the complete Dynamics ERP environment, while maintaining the legacy implementation during the transition. This is a fully remote role working CST hours.
- Lead and participate in Fin Ops initiatives, developments, and key objectives.
- Document and maintain Fin Ops internal processes and contribute to process improvements, system mapping, and change management.
- Lead system improvements, enhancements, and special projects related to PO, AP, GL, FA, and AR.
- Design new processes, streamline existing Fin Ops processes, and ensure updated procedures are stable and maintained.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to automate manual processes, implement best practices, and ensure business needs are met with a cross‑functional lens.
- Lead meetings with user groups, super users, process experts, and functional leaders to discuss issues, ideas, and proposed changes.
- Analyze business requirements of all internal departments to standardize and improve practices, processes, and procedures using the ERP system.
- Proactively address updates by researching known issues, testing key processes, and educating business SMEs/BPOs on existing or new ERP functionality.
- Assist with the development of new logic and financial setup, evaluating how proposed platform changes impact financial operations.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for essential financial activities and support the Finance Team.
- Prepare month‑end reconciliations and reporting, including accruals, GL account reconciliations, and month‑to‑month variance analysis; assist Operations with monthly P&L reviews.
- Manage key procedures to complete weekly and monthly financial close activities and reporting models.
- Monitor and perform daily finance operations and manage ongoing initiatives.
- Propose and implement policies and initiatives to align recurring financial operations with strategy, overseeing development and communication to internal teams and business partners.
- Create and maintain process documentation via MS Task Recorder and RSAT test automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; preferred 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with D365 F&O and AX2012.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑driven with the ability to work collaboratively and lead a team.
- Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environment.
- Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills.
- Solution‑oriented, proposing new solutions to problems and processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally with teams outside the Finance Department.
- Experience with various MS technologies that complement D365 F&O such as Task Recorder, RSAT, Logical Apps (preferred).
- MS D365 F&O Certifications (preferred).
