Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance team. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, compliance, and reporting, with a particular focus on healthcare finance and revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and present GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
- Maintain books of accounts on both accrual and cash basis.
- Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships.
- Oversee accounts receivable and optimize collections.
- Handle payroll processing and compliance with labor laws.
- Lead tax planning and compliance (federal, state, and sales tax).
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of audited financials.
- Manage banking relationships and cash flow forecasting.
- Oversee customer contract financial terms and revenue recognition.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance (SOX, HIPAA).
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and Quick Books.
- Extensive experience (at least 7 years) in accounts payable, vendor management, accounts receivable, revenue collection, ADP payroll, banking, credit card, employee reimbursement, financial audit coordination, tax management (federal, state, and sales tax), budgeting, financial projections, and cash flow management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
