Global Banking & Markets provides a full range of investment banking, credit and risk management products and services relevant to the financing and strategic development needs of our clients. Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange and precious & metals. We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the Scotiabank Group.

- 3 - 5 years of practical experience supporting Transaction Banking business, including but not limited to Payments/Deposits, FX Settlement and Liquidity Management.
- Possess strong knowledge of Transaction Banking products with advanced technical acumen and solid risk management techniques preferred.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners.
- Must possess strong attention to detail, organizational, planning, time-management, problem solving & critical thinking skills.
- Possess the ability to be a self-starter and team player.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Prior experience with Finacle, Power BI and other operational systems considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline considered an asset.
