SummaryIn this role, this person will lead a group that will be responsible for the forecasting, budgeting and analysis of Sunoco’s Pipeline segment. This candidate will need the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and will work closely with our Accounting, Operations, Commercial, and Regulatory groups. This candidate must have a broad base of knowledge in the midstream oil and gas industry and must be proficient in leading group discussions and presenting financial results.
This position reports to the Sr Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Preparationofthe annual budget.
Position will berequiredtosupervisethis process from startto finishandworkwiththe
Sr DirectorofFP&Ainthepresentationofthisbudgettosenior leadership. - Prepareandupdatethelong-term forecastperiodicallythroughoutthe year.
- Prepare and report monthly results. This reporting package will be presented to financial, commercial,and operational leadership monthly. Preparation of this report will require updating the annual forecast monthly.
- Performance ofthis function will require this position tomaintaina close productive relationship with Accounting, Financial Reporting, Insurance, Tax, Commercial, and Operational groups.
- Preparebudgetsandforecastinformationfor jointinterestandjointventure partners.
- Preparationofquarterlyanalysisreporting package that willbepresentedto financial,commercial and operational leadership in preparation for our quarterly earnings call.
- Support the Senior Director of FP&Ainrespondingtorequestsfromexternal analysts.
- Support our Corporate FP&A group in the preparation of presentations to investors and ratings agencies by providing actual and forecasted financial information.
- Participateinteamobjectivesofmaximizingefficiencieswithreporting,automation,and optimization.
- ProvidesupportofourTM1productionanddevelopmentenvironmentssupportingmultipleusers, maintaining existing dimensions and managing user access/security.
- Undergraduatedegreein Finance,Accounting,orrelated field.
- 8 yearsof progressive experience in finance/accounting related function,preferably with at least 8 years of Midstream related experience (specifically Pipelines and Terminals).
- Demonstrated analytical,organizational,and problem-solving skills.
- MustbehighlyproficientwithMSExcelandmodeling skills.
- Knowledge of themidstreamoilandgasindustry,FERC experience isa strong plus.
- Solidtime management skills:ability tohandlemultiple projects,meet deadlinesandfunction independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to effectively manageasmallteamof analysts.
- Self-starterwithabilitytolearn quickly.
IBMCognosTM1experiencepreferredbutnot required toapply.
However,thisrole is responsible for TM1 support so the willingness to learn is required.
