Portfolio Implementation Intern (Summer 2027)

Chicago or Dallas. Duration:
June - August 2027.
- Support the broader Portfolio Management Team in driving adoption of the centralized Corient Investment Platform to achieve optimal investment outcomes for clients.
- Gain exposure to all facets of the Traditional and Alternative investments teams and their products/solutions.
- Build investment acumen and knowledge base of Corient’s suite of solutions.
- Assist with running data analytics on various investment strategies.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials related to client and advisor education of the centralized Corient Investment Platform.
- Assist with analyzing client portfolios and running transition plans.
- Must be a rising senior by the summer of 2027.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated coursework or experience in finance, economics, or mathematics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software is a plus.
- Establishes clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and written, in a variety of settings and with multiple communication styles.
This position is non‑exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of IL. The pay rate for this position is $37.50 per hour. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The range takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Physical Requirements- Works in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Required to work onsite 4 days per week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non‑Disclosure Agreement.
