Bankruptcy Specialist
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Bankruptcy Specialist opportunity with our client - a premier firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1999, they specialize in delivering technology-enabled, compliant bankruptcy servicing solutions to the lending and servicing industries. They are a trusted industry partner, providing proven, results-driven outcomes to some of the nation's largest and most respected creditors.
The Bankruptcy Specialist is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Extract data and validate key fields from the bankruptcy docket.
- Obtain necessary mortgage collateral documents for validation and redaction.
- Retrieve and verify required financial data, invoices, escrow statements, payment histories, and other pertinent mortgage data.
- Note, track, and obtain missing items as necessary, performing regular follow-ups to secure any missing data and documents.
- Perform other similar duties as assigned.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- High school diploma.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, 10-key touch.
- Ability to navigate efficiently within various applications and platforms.
- Data entry and data reconciliation accuracy, with proficient technical skills to maintain quality and results.
- Attention to detail to perform accurate and quality work with document review and data validation.
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration while meeting timelines.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- Work history in legal, accounting, billing, loan servicing, or other professional practices.
- Mortgage Banking experience.
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
