What You’ll Do

Tax Compliance & Preparation

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, individuals, and trusts.
  • Ensure all returns comply with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Resolve IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices.
  • Conduct technical tax research and draft memoranda on complex tax issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and evaluate its impact on our clients

Leadership & Team Development

  • Develop, motivate, and train junior staff and managers.
  • Delegate projects and manage workflow to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Train staff on new processes, software, and regulatory changes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, being a trusted advisor.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)
  • 8 or more years of experience in public accounting, with demonstrated expertise in partnerships, S-corporations, individual and trust tax compliance.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance.
  • Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Proficiency in CCH Tax
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and client service orientation.
What We Offer
  • Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver)

  • Base salary of $130,000- $150,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
