The position has broad exposure to the workings of an institutional investment office within a mission-driven non-profit organization.
Duties/Responsibilities: conduct extensive data gathering, documentation, and reporting on private investment holdings including private equity, private credit, and hedge funds; prepare private investment analysis at a portfolio and fund level, including liquidity, exposures, and benchmark comparisons; prepare portfolio exposures and risk decomposition for monitoring and management of investment portfolios; research, prepare, and write pieces on portfolio diligence and market trends; monitor portfolio guideline compliance;
participate in manager searches by preparing quantitative and qualitative analyses of prospective managers; conduct portfolio optimization and stochastic modeling using asset allocation parameters.
Requirements: bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or a relevant field, with five years of directly related experience in an institutional investment office such as an endowment, foundation, or pension plan; strong background in investment analysis, portfolio analysis, and performance measurement methodologies; working knowledge of Zephyr/PSN, Evest, Wilshire Compass or other portfolio optimization software.
