Senior Vice President, Investments

RETS Associates on behalf of our client is seeking a Senior Vice President, Investments in Dallas, TX to lead industrial investment activity across Texas and other select regional markets. Backed by one of the world's leading global investment firms, this senior leadership role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to deploy substantial institutional capital while helping expand a rapidly growing investment platform.

The Senior Vice President, Investments will lead sourcing, underwriting, negotiation, and execution of institutional-quality industrial acquisitions across DFW, Houston, Austin, and other high-growth markets. With a strong emphasis on relationship-driven deal origination, this individual will manage transactions from sourcing through closing, present investment recommendations to executive leadership, and partner closely with Asset Management, Construction Management, and Finance. The SVP will also play a key role in establishing the Dallas office and building a dedicated regional investment team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of institutional commercial real estate acquisitions experience with significant industrial expertise
  • Proven track record sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and closing institutional-quality industrial acquisitions
  • Extensive relationships within the Texas industrial investment and brokerage community
  • Deep understanding of logistics, warehouse, and distribution assets
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting skills, including ARGUS proficiency
  • Experience preparing and presenting investment committee memoranda to executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to originate both marketed and off-market investment opportunities
  • Experience with an institutional owner, investment manager, private equity firm, or REIT preferred
  • Entrepreneurial and highly accountable with the ability to operate independently in a growth-oriented environment
  • Deal sheet required
  • Willingness to travel throughout Texas as needed
