Consumer Finance Associate Mid to Senior Level

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level Consumer Finance Associate for their Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice in Dallas, Texas. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries.

• Advise clients on financial services regulatory and compliance matters.
• Handle issues related to mortgage lending, consumer finance, and commercial finance.
• Work with alternative lending products and Fin Tech structures.
• Assist with state licensing and compliance with financial services laws.
• Engage in legal research, analysis, and writing.

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in financial services regulatory and compliance.
• Knowledge of TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, and FDCPA.
• Experience with enforcement, money services businesses, and payment systems is a plus.
• Strong academic background and attention to detail.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
