A high-growth US data centre platform is seeking a senior finance leader to join its executive team and play a central role in the next phase of the business.

The platform is operating in a highly capital-intensive, rapidly scaling market, with significant investment required to support capacity expansion, infrastructure development and continued growth. The successful individual will partner closely with the CEO, Board and investment partners, providing both strategic financial leadership and hands-on commercial oversight.

This is an opportunity for a finance leader to take a broad role across strategy, capital, M&A, financial planning and performance, rather than operating purely as a traditional controllership-focused CFO.

• Lead the overall finance function, including FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax and financial reporting.
• Partner with the CEO, Board and investment partners on business strategy, capital allocation and value creation.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning across the platform.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to support data centre development, investment decisions, acquisitions and expansion opportunities.
• Oversee liquidity, financing and capital structure, working closely with lenders and equity investors.
• Support and lead M&A, JVs, financing transactions and strategic investment opportunities.
• Provide commercial insight into development economics, project returns, customer contracts, pricing and operating performance.
• Establish appropriate financial controls, reporting infrastructure and KPIs as the platform scales.
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team capable of supporting a rapidly expanding infrastructure business.
• Act as a key interface with the Board, sponsors, lenders, auditors and other external stakeholders.
• Help build the financial infrastructure required to support significant future growth and potential liquidity/exit events.

• Significant experience at CFO, VP Finance of equivalent senior level.
• Experience with in data centres, digital infrastructure, telecoms, fibre, power or another capital-intensive infrastructure environment.
• Proven experience partnering with Private Equity, Infrastructure or institutional investors.
• Strong exposure to capital raising, debt financing, M&A, JV structures and/or complex infrastructure investment.
• Strong financial modelling, FP&A and commercial finance capabilities, with the ability to translate operational and investment data into strategic decisions.
• Experience operating in a high-growth, acquisitive or transformational environment, ideally supporting significant capital deployment and platform expansion.
• Experience building and scaling finance teams, systems, controls and reporting infrastructure.
• Strong executive presence, with the ability to operate credibly with the CEO, Board, investors, lenders and other stakeholders.
