Position Overview:

Hillwood’s Corporate Services team is seeking a strategic finance leader to oversee the enterprise-wide management of cash, liquidity, banking relationships, and investment activity. The Vice President, Treasury Management will work in Dallas, Texas at our corporate headquarters and is responsible for building and leading a modern, technology-enabled Treasury function while establishing the strategy, systems, processes, and controls necessary to effectively manage Hillwood’s complex cash and banking portfolio.

This individual will lead enterprise liquidity planning, cash forecasting, banking strategy and relationships, interest rate and yield optimization, investment activity, treasury operations, and related governance and reporting. The Vice President will also play a critical role in modernizing the Treasury function through automation, treasury management systems, data-driven reporting, and emerging technologies.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in treasury and cash management, strong analytical and leadership capabilities, demonstrated experience building or modernizing a sophisticated Treasury function, and a proactive, collaborative approach to partnering with ownership, executive leadership, and Hillwood’s divisions.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Treasury Transformation
  • Lead the enterprise Treasury function, establishing strategy, priorities, operating standards, and performance expectations.
  • Develop and execute an enterprise-wide treasury management strategy that strengthens cash and liquidity management, reporting, controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Modernize Hillwood’s Treasury function through implementation and optimization of treasury management systems, automation, AI, and other emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize and standardize treasury activities, processes, and reporting across Hillwood’s divisions while appropriately supporting individual business needs.
  • Stay current on treasury trends, economic and financial risks, fraud-prevention practices, and emerging technologies, proactively recommending relevant solutions and best practices.
Banking Relationships & Structure
  • Own and manage enterprise banking relationships, including account structure, account openings and closings, ECR, interest-bearing and sweep arrangements, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to divisional leadership on banking and lending relationships, cash management, liquidity, and related treasury matters.
  • Negotiate interest rates, fees, account terms, and maintenance costs across deposit and investment accounts to optimize returns and costs.
  • Monitor banking counter party health, concentration, and related risks across Hillwood’s domestic and international banking portfolio, developing appropriate reporting and recommendations.
  • Oversee banking platform access, user entitlements, security protocols, and fraud-prevention controls, including positive pay, debit and ACH blocks, and other appropriate safeguards.
Cash Management, Liquidity & Investment
  • Lead enterprise-wide daily cash positioning and liquidity planning to ensure efficient deployment and availability of cash.
  • Develop and maintain a robust, forward-looking, automated cash forecasting and liquidity framework to improve visibility, optimize liquidity, and maximize yield.
  • Manage Hillwood’s investment accounts and evaluate new investment products and opportunities appropriate for a large and complex portfolio.
  • Oversee and approve outgoing payment activity, including ACH, checks, Paymode, and wire transfers, in accordance with established controls and authorization requirements.
