About the Role In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring and optimizing our core treasury management system, TMS (TMS)- Treasury management software (TMS), ensuring seamless processing of financial and commercial transactions across our North American affiliates. Reporting to the Treasury Systems Manager, you will help drive accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in treasury operations that support mission to deliver exceptional financial services.
KeyRequirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field that provides a strong foundation in financial systems
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in treasury systems, accounting systems, or financial operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data querying and analysis
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Quick learner who adapts easily to new software and applications
- Familiarity with accounting principles and treasury functions
- Experience with TMS (TMS) and/or SAP is a plus
- Advanced degree or certifications in finance, accounting, or related disciplines
- Extra years of experience working on treasury or accounting system projects
- Specialized skills in treasury management systems or financial data analytics
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and system enhancements
- Fluently bi-lingual in Spanish
- Own the daily administration and monitoring of TMS, including , research and updates to the cash, transactions, and accounting modules as required by business needs. Support month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Partner with treasury and cash management teams across Team and affiliates in Canada and Mexico to address business needs
- Maintain custom reports for stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility
- Manage documentation and approvals to uphold internal controls and compliance standards
- Assist with audit preparation by gathering necessary system support and documentation
- Investigate and resolve application defects related to transaction processing, cash settlements, and accounting within TMS
- Conduct quality assurance testing and perform data analysis using SQL and treasury system tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally to test system upgrades, patches, and process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing TMS processes and procedures
