Job Description & How to Apply Below

A leading global financial services firm is seeking an Operations Analyst to join its Institutional Oversight team within Client Operations. This confidential opportunity is with a top-tier institutional investment firm — company details will be shared directly with qualified candidates.

The Institutional Oversight team owns all aspects of institutional account onboarding, portfolio accounting, cash management, and client reporting, and serves as the single point of contact for operations-related client inquiries. The team supports a broad and complex product range — including equities, fixed income, currency, and derivatives — and partners closely with portfolio managers, sales, and client relationship teams to ensure accurate, timely account information and strong operational risk oversight.

Responsibilities:
  • Own a holistic understanding of client accounts from an Operations perspective, coordinating client events and issues across teams and acting as a single point of contact
  • Manage tasks across a multi-disciplined team to ensure all operational requirements are met and systems are set up ahead of account trading activity
  • Liaise with clients' appointed counter parties (custodians, prime brokers, etc.) to establish operational flows and respond to service requests
  • Interpret client operational requirements and service standards from legal documentation and business requirements
  • Ensure accounting data accuracy and provide oversight to maintain a controlled investment management environment
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they impact clients
  • Review account-level metrics (reconciliations, corporate actions, NAV reconciliations, failing trades, reporting deliverables) and elevate/remediate exceptions as needed
  • Contribute to navigating the evolving regulatory landscape and support development of technology solutions
  • Apply process improvement methodologies to strategic and tactical initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and a strong consensus builder
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Operations and/or Financial Services
  • Ability to partner across product groups, regions, and functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage tight deadlines under pressure
