Financial Analyst – Technology Portfolio Management Role Summary

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Technology Financial Portfolio Management team. This role will provide financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, reconciliation, and operational support across areas such as capital expenditures, operating expenses, invoicing, asset accounting, contractor financials, and technology portfolio planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting or financial analysis, be comfortable working with large data sets, and have the ability to communicate financial information clearly to business and technology stakeholders.

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close activities.
• Prepare accruals, reconciliations, variance analyses, financial reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Gather, validate, analyze, and maintain financial and operational data.
• Assist with annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Support demand planning and resource planning financial analysis.
• Track capital projects, construction work in progress (CWIP), project placements in service, capitalization activities, and asset retirements.
• Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and contractor financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records and documentation for audits and SOX controls.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and explain financial results.
• Develop insights and recommendations based on financial and operational data.
• Prepare dashboards, executive reports, and other financial materials for leadership.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with large data sets and performing quantitative analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.

• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of accounting principles, capitalization, depreciation, and asset management.
• Experience supporting technology projects, applications, or technology operations.
• Experience with financial, reporting, portfolio management, or asset management tools.
• Exposure to Cap Ex, OpEx, CWIP, invoicing, contractor financials, or technology portfolio management.

Min Rate: 39.90

Max Rate: 57.00
