Finance Analyst; Hybrid- Dallas, Tx

About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will apply accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, and deliver accurate financial reports for a large portfolio of healthcare facilities in Texas. This role involves proactive financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and the implementation of process improvements to support both internal management and external clients. This position is primarily remote, though it requires onsite presence at a facility in Dallas, Texas.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

• Analyze maintenance spending data across a large portfolio of healthcare facilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all expenses, receipts, owner distributions, and funding requests are accurately recorded.
• Complete accounting transactions to prepare client financial statement packages.
• Execute the month-end close process by reviewing, verifying, and finalizing financial transactions before closing the period.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive reports and analyze trends in general business conditions.
• Utilize Excel and other organizational tools to track forecasting, budgeting, and facility expenses.
• Take initiative to implement process improvements and utilize AI-driven tools to streamline existing accounting workflows.
• Research open accounting issues, identify potential conflicts, and implement corrective actions to minimize future risk.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, management teams, and vendors regarding financial reporting and accounting inquiries.
• Collaborate across multiple departments to provide detailed reporting and resolve complex financial issues.
• Verify the accuracy of information provided to management and respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders.
• Use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practice experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
