PROGRAM CORE OBJECTIVE

• Provide exposure to analyst responsibilities in commercial real estate investments and asset management at leading private equity firm
• Develop understanding of origination, due diligence, and asset management for commercial real estate investments
• Solidify a basic understanding of real estate fundamentals and valuation

Hudson Advisors is a leading asset management firm that works closely with Lone Star Funds on a wide variety of commercial real estate investments, residential real estate, and operating companies. For more information about Hudson, visit  For more information about Lone Star, visit  The firm’s 10-week CRE Summer Internship Program is designed to provide hands‑on experience and exposure to commercial real estate investments across the major property sectors.

The firm is currently most active in Multifamily, Retail, Hospitality, Office, and Seniors Housing assets, although our mandate allows for opportunities in other commercial sectors not listed. Investment opportunities may come in the form of direct equity, debt, or corporate acquisitions. Furthermore, investments will be housed in both opportunistic and value-add capital sources, providing exposure to a wide variety of opportunities across the risk spectrum.

Upon selection into the Program, the Intern will work closely with Hudson North America CRE team on a wide range of business functions such as underwriting new investment opportunities, asset management, capital markets, capex analysis/forecasting/execution, and general sector research. Senior leadership and external parties will hold periodic seminars on pertinent business topics and fundamental skills that will shape a successful investment career.

The summer will conclude with a final project and presentation as an opportunity to demonstrate knowledge acquired over the course of the internship. Qualified applicants should be incoming juniors and seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics, business, finance, or other related areas of study willing to work in person in our offices in New York or Dallas.

A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a team-oriented attitude is a requirement of successful members of the Hudson organization. A strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial modeling is preferred but not required. Further, applicants should be strongly interested in pursuing a career in commercial real estate investing, investment management, asset management, or finance upon obtaining their undergraduate degree.
