Position

Strata Wealth Advisors is currently interviewing for a Financial Planner / Wealth Advisor to join

our Dallas team in a hybrid capacity that blends technical planning expertise with direct

client relationship management.

At Strata, we believe in the power of IQ Compounding bringing together insight, discipline,

and collaboration to create lasting impact for our clients. In this role, you will both provide the

technical and analytical planning support that underpins every client strategy and take an

active role in leading and growing client relationships, designing, implementing, and

coordinating all phases of the financial and investment planning process.

You’ll start by supporting our mid- to high-complexity clients behind the scenes by gathering

and analyzing client data, developing financial planning models, and preparing proposals

and presentations. Over time, you’ll grow into leading select client relationships within a

defined service model, delivering advice, overseeing implementation, and building long-term

trust directly with clients. Throughout, you’ll collaborate closely with the Financial Planning

team, other Wealth Advisors, and other departments to help ensure a seamless client

experience.

This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise across all areas of wealth

management while also developing the client-facing and business-development skills

needed to lead relationships and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.

This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning.

Key Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth advisory, or a related field, with a robust understanding of financial planning concepts (specific level based on role scope, and client-facing responsibilities).
  • Has experience in running client meetings
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with industry software (e.g., Redtail, Orion) a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex ideas to clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently and accurately.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions.
  • A collaborative mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the long-term success of our clients and firm through the principles of IQ Compounding.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze client and prospect data to support the financial planning process.
  • Develop financial planning models, case designs, scenarios, estate flows, fiduciary/directive summaries, and related analyses.
  • Prepare engagement proposals, plan reviews, presentations, investment reports, quarterly review materials, and other client deliverables.
  • Apply financial planning concepts, conduct research on planning topics, and review client legal documents in collaboration with the Director of Financial Planning.
