Position Summary
This position is responsible for transforming the internal audit function into a fully AI-enabled department. This role serves as the department's leader for artificial intelligence strategy and implementation with the goal of embedding AI throughout the audit life cycle to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency. The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AI-enabled solutions that generate and enhance audit documentation, including audit reports, planning documents, risk assessments, work papers, audit committee materials, and other departmental communications.
The role will establish standards, workflows, and quality controls to verify all audit deliverables are produced efficiently and consistently while maintaining professional standards. In addition to leading AI transformation initiatives, this position serves as the operational leader for the Internal Audit function, overseeing departmental reporting, project tracking, quality assessments, resource utilization, administrative processes, and executive communications. The successful candidate will combine expertise in business operations, data analytics, and emerging AI technologies to create a highly efficient and innovative audit function.
- Use AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance reporting and content development.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve department procedures.
- Maintain dashboards and tracking tools to provide visibility into status and performance.
- Draft and edit reports, memos, and presentations.
- Create departmental templates and style standards across Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Maintain training records and certification documentation.
- Facilitate training sessions to promote professional development.
- Develop policies, procedures, charters, templates, and records retention documentation.
- Manage department calendars, recurring deliverables, and reporting schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance reporting and content development.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
