The Oregon Eligibility Partnership (OEP) provides coordinated eligibility services across a range of state programs, ensuring timely delivery of benefits and a person‑centered experience for Oregonians.

• Conduct interviews and review supplemental materials to determine eligibility for ODHS programs.
• Perform redeterminations, periodic reviews, and change updates within federal time frames and appropriate intervals.
• Maintain accurate documentation, complete required forms, and record actions taken.
• Communicate eligibility decisions and send required notifications to applicants within established time frames.
• Provide trauma‑informed, person‑centered services to identify client needs.
• Handle and protect sensitive and confidential information in compliance with Oregon and agency policies.

• Minimum Qualifications:
• One year of experience at the Human Services Specialist 1 level for the State of Oregon.
• Or two years of experience providing public assistance and interpreting policies and guidelines.
• Or an associate degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or a related field combined with six months of relevant experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Essential Attributes:
• Adaptability and patience in shifting business priorities.
• Attention to detail in data entry and document review.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers, colleagues, and diverse communities.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply policies and regulations in a changing environment.

• Standard work schedule: 8:00a.m.–5:00p.m., Monday–Friday (PST) with occasional overtime and flexible scheduling as needed.
• Primarily office‐based in a cubicle environment with frequent interruptions and noise.
• Occasional travel for business needs and training; valid driver’s license required.
• Exposure to high‑stress situations and potential interaction with individuals experiencing trauma.
• Daily computer use, repetitive motions, and prolonged sitting.
