BasicJob Functions:
Nucor Business Technology (NBT)is seeking a highly skilledBusiness Analystfor itsFinanceteam to work with NBT teammates and other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a fully functional ERP/MES solution to Nucor's Sheet, Plate and Structural Mills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting financial analyses to help support the divisions
- Have proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations, identify and resolve reconciling items, and collaborate with divisions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Have a strong understanding of General Ledger accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Support division internal and external audits by assisting with audit requests, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
This is a full-time position with Nucor Business Technology, based in Irving, TX. Project-related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Business Technology (NBT) will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial close and GAAP
- MBA, CPA, or CMA
- Public or corporate accounting experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with OracleEBS and/or PSI
- Relocation to the Dallas area
