- Working independently with other departments in a wide variety of circumstances.
- Analyzing and compiling accurate and detailed reports utilizing defined processes promptly to meet established timelines and deadlines. This can include but is not limited to:
- Compiling metric data from a wide variety of sources to develop and track key performance indicators and benchmarks.
- Facilitating data conversions from district information systems to other information system databases as required for reporting and compliance.
- Identifying and resolving data integrity problems, monitoring databases for consistency and standardization of student data, and spot-checking student data for compliance.
- Creating scripts for various data reports.
- Planning, designing, and manipulating databases for the storage and dissemination of dual credit student data.
- Organizing information and data concepts into presentations for a variety of audiences.
- Utilizing problem-solving to identify issues and assist with the creation of action plans, decision-making, and strategy development.
- Maintaining a wide variety of documents, files, and records to provide up-to-date references.
- Maintaining backup and recovery of databases.
- Participating in workshops, meetings, workshops, inter- and intra-district committees, seminars, and conferences to convey and gather information regarding program initiatives and goals.
- Completing ad hoc assignments as assigned to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Required Bachelor's Degree in a field of study/concentration in instructional technology, mathematics, or directly related field.
- Preferred Master's Degree in a field of study/concentration in instructional technology, mathematics, or directly related field.
- Preferred Microsoft Office Specialist certification recommended.
- Preferred 3-5 direct years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of operating standard office equipment including utilizing pertinent software applications, including but not limited to Power BI, Microsoft Office, & Google Work spaces.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, average scores, and formulate complex mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (i.e., mastery of V-lookup formula, pivot tables, graphs/charts, & conditional formatting, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in creating compelling and visually appealing presentations using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar software. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas through well-designed slides and presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments. Demonstrated experience in fostering effective communication and cooperation to achieve shared goals and objectives.
