Position:
EP Lab Tech at Medical City Heart & Spine, part of Medical City Healthcare.
Full Time Day Shift Position, Monday - Friday, 10‑hour shifts. Hours are from 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
NO CALL REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

- This is a Full Time Days position, Monday - Friday, 10 hours shifts. Hours are typically 6:30 am – 5 pm. NO CALL required for this position.
As an Electrophysiology/EP Lab Tech, you will identify steps in established procedures to provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and use of medical devices.
What You Will Do In This Role- Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
- Scrub assist for all diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures, including preparation of supplies and instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide‑wires and devices.
- Inject contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician.
- Document procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
- Assist in coordinating the procedure schedule as assigned.
- Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor/manager.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or 3 years of Cath Lab or EP experience.
- CVT Tech.
- Allied Health Degree.
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required within 1 year of hire date or transfer into position.
