Job Summary

A Program Coordinator Nurse uses nursing values to organize programs. They are a key contact for staff and oversee budgets. Responsibilities include organizing services, resolving issues, and improving patient care.

Essential Functions Of

The Role
  • Orchestrating and publicising programs, including delivering training and continuous learning opportunities for our team.
  • Acting as a conduit between the team, advisory committee, and facility management, including the marketing team.
  • Engaging in and coordinating the annual planning and review of programs.
  • Planning, conducting, and sharing evaluations of our program’s efficacy.
  • Participating in the Advisory Committee and attending all its meetings.
  • Gathering and processing all results‑related data promptly and accurately.
  • Enforcing ongoing quality improvement initiatives to meet the standards of relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Handling program‑related correspondence and records, ensuring medical records are up‑to‑date, verifying patient charges, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and evaluating financial summaries.
  • Handling patient concerns regarding our services, resolving these issues and documenting the resolution process.
  • Managing medication as per program protocols when requested by the patient’s doctor.

  • Your social skills, critical thinking, and problem‑solving are crucial for this role.
  • You must carefully monitor medical conditions and communicate effectively.

Shift/Schedule

Full‑time days, 8‑hour days, Monday‑Friday 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., every other Saturday, with one day off during the week.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Have a minimum of (3) three years professional nursing experience
  • Currently have or can get a BLS certification within 30 days of employment if not already certified
  • RN
Preferred

Two (2) years of Neuro ICU or four (4) years of Neuro Med Surg Tele
