Medical Assistant – Dermatology (Full-Time)

Location: Prosper / North Dallas Region

Practice Type: Medical & Surgical Dermatology

We are a patient focused medical and surgical dermatology office dedicated to providing high quality care in a professional and welcoming way. We are seeking a full time dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our group. If you enjoy working closely with providers and patients; supporting physician-directed medical dermatologic care and assisting in minor ambulatory procedures, this position is for you.

• Room patients and obtain vitals, medical history, medications, and allergies
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Assist providers during dermatologic procedures including but not limited to:

• Biopsies
• Excisions
• Suturing
• Injections
• Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen (LN2)

• Set up and break down procedure rooms
• Clean and disinfect rooms between patients
• Process and label pathology specimens
• Maintain accurate specimen logs
• Ensure specimens are picked up daily
• Sterilize and maintain any surgical instruments
• Maintain a clean and clear workspace

• High School diploma
• CMA/RMA certification Preferred:
  • Dermatology or surgical specialty experience
  • Experience assisting with procedures or minor surgery
  Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • No nights, weekends, or major holidays
