Quantitative modeling will be used to characterize metabolic fluxes and kinetics and to relate metabolic changes to functional outcomes. The instructor will design, execute, and analyze preclinical and clinical cardiac imaging studies, including the development and optimization of pulse sequences, acquisition strategies, and analysis pipelines for metabolic and functional imaging. Responsibilities also include integrating imaging results with physiological and biochemical measures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to manuscripts and grant applications, and participating in the training and mentoring of trainees while supporting ongoing translational and clinical research efforts.
Qualification:
Ph.D. in a scientific or engineering field
