Cath Lab Tech - Cath Lab Tech

Days, 10-hour shifts with rotating after-hours call and a required Sunday rotation.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and/or electrophysiology studies. This position serves as a lead worker and a resource to medical and clinical staff, ensuring maximum utilization of individual and group capabilities while collaborating with the intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care.

• Conduct specialized examinations and collaborate with the team to ensure safe patient care.
• Participate in Universal Protocol and site marking identification.
• Assist in patient preparation, room preparation, and equipment selection according to protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, performing preventive maintenance as required.
• Identify areas for process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiovascular technology through continuing education and professional engagement.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines for cardiovascular technology.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases.
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification, ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• State of Texas Medical Radiologic License.
• Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting is preferred.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
