Works under general supervision to provide instruction, planning, and administration of our Workplace Violence Prevention program for UTSW. Facilitates the implementation of our Workplace Violence Prevention and de‑escalation program(s) s Training Coordinator will be one of the primary points of contact from the Health System Patient Safety department. This program development will be a multiple‑year, ongoing program that will require coordination with teams across the health system.

- Education
:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field - Experience
: 1 year experience in field of assignment. Will consider work experience in lieu of education.
- Provides oversight for training program activities including planning, developing, and organizing resources for all training courses for the respective department/program.
- Confer with leadership and other departments as needed to direct training program operation and growth.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors as needed to procure teaching materials and coordinate other resources.
- Conduct training sessions and organize lectures.
- Prepare, procure, and manage inventory of training materials and equipment.
- Maintain records of training activities.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and assess for quality improvement opportunities within training program.
- Track costs associated with program and assist with budget preparation.
- Recommend policies and procedures relating to training activities.
- May supervise assigned training or office staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
