**# Duties/Responsibilities
* Assist in all phases of the planning and implementation of clinical, programmatic, and educational initiatives focused on patients with dysphagia and their families
* Participate in departmental activities in the area of Medical Care, Professional Training and Education, Patient/Family, Education, Advocacy for children with special needs, and Research
* Evaluate, diagnose, and recommend treatment of identified patients with communication and swallowing disorders
* Assist in developing schedules for families to support the optimal therapeutic impact for the patients
* Assist with maintaining communication with the patient/family regarding progress, problems, home programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic program outlined by the Developmental Disabilities Team
* Help coordinate and lead patient care staffing of the patients seen through the DD Dysphagia Team
* Prepare and present continuing educational programs for staff/families related to dysphagia and intervention for the condition# Required Skills/Abilities
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
* Specific training in pediatric dysphagia
* 5 years of clinical experience
