Job Description

Travel: 50% in our Northern Texas Market

Sr. Director, Practice Operations is responsible for managing the region's clinically integrated multi‑specialty practices in order to drive performance results, and for overseeing the Performance Management, Implementation, and Training teams.

  • Manage the Operations Consulting Team that handles Implementation, Training & Performance Management
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for the market‑based team, physician practices, and support services
  • Manage the Performance, Implementation and Training Teams
  • Manage the end‑to‑end relationship of a client in Privia, from implementation to performance management
  • Oversee the management of the care centers and physicians within the medical group after a care center is live with Privia
  • Oversee the project management, training, and support activities of the go‑live of physician practices
  • Collaborate with other Privia teams, both locally and nationally, including Revenue Cycle, Credentialing, Finance, IT, and Population Health
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute new ancillary growth and development, as well as the current ancillary portfolio.
  • Host regular meetings with each physician practice in the portfolio to review action plan improvements and revenue growth
  • Track and manage metrics and goals related to finance, revenue cycle, productivity, clinical performance, and customer experience
  • Identify areas of opportunity improvements through reviewing financial & clinical metrics
  • Provide top‑notch customer service to physician practices to ensure issues are resolved and clients are satisfied
  • Provide regular status updates to Privia leadership via regular operating meetings and one‑off communications
  • Strategic thinker who assesses situations carefully and delivers scalable recommendations and results
  • Provide coaching to junior team members through regular feedback loops and 1:1s
  • Be a subject matter expert on Privia’s processes and technology platforms (includes our Athena Health EHR and Practice Management platform)
  • Evaluate processes, gather feedback, and identify/lead improvement projects that enhance the quality of implementation and better support Privia’s overall strategic vision
  • Engage in and/or lead strategic projects that span other functions and markets
  • This individual will also help with projects on an ongoing basis that benefit the broader market, company, and contribute to operational excellence
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Healthcare Master’s or MBA highly preferred
  • Previous healthcare experience required; working with physicians and medical group staff preferred
  • Managed multiple projects while providing exceptional client service
  • Technical project management in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Experience in hospital or physician office setting including knowledge of physician office workflow and processes
  • Tech Savvy
  • Experience managing and leading team members
  • Must provide reliable transportation
  • Ability to work with different levels of clinical personnel including providers
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 20% & restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
