Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Dallas, TX
. This role plays a vital part in supporting students’ communication skills, academic achievement, and overall success. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services in a supportive school environment.
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations to determine student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in small groups.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication across educational settings.
- Participate in IEP, ARD, and 504 meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making.
- Support MTSS/RTI initiatives through screening, progress monitoring, and intervention planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines, IDEA, and district policies.
- Promote inclusive, culturally responsive practices and advocate for equitable access to speech and language services.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in K–12 school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessments, IEP development, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
