Qualified Mental Health Professional–Community Services (QMHP-CS)
Reports To:ACT Director
Job Summary:The primary responsibility of the QMHP Case Manager is to provide family-oriented, individual and group rehabilitative mental health services, skills training, medication training, parenting skills training, and intensive case management services to clients, following state standards. Services are delivered in the community, home, school, and office.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in rehab counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field as per Texas Administrative Code Rule §353.1415. One year of community-based experience with knowledge of curriculum-based techniques and community resources for severe mental illness is preferred.
Skills:- Understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment.
- Knowledge of documentation, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines.
- Awareness of community service agencies and resources.
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent local travel is required.
