Position: Billing Specialist II
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Pay Range: $23.00 – $27.00 / per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Day Shift)
Work Environment: In-office

Position Overview:An established and growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist II to join its revenue cycle team. This role supports billing operations across multiple practices nationwide and offers strong opportunities for career growth, hands‑on training, and long‑term advancement.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong healthcare billing experience who are detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Access client billing systems to review and process insurance claims
- Review coding, demographics, and claim information prior to submission
- Collect and review referrals and prior authorizations
- Enter claim information accurately into billing systems
- Prepare and submit electronic claims, including narratives when required
- Track, review, and resolve rejected or denied claims
- Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve claim issues
- Research insurance policies and verify billing requirements
- Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders regarding billing questions
- Maintain accurate documentation and billing records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company billing policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare, dental, or medical billing experience
- Strong understanding of medical billing workflows and claims processing
- Experience working with healthcare billing software and systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, and Share Point
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving abilities
- Experience using claim attachment and remote access tools (such as secure portals or VPN environments)
- Experience supporting multi-practice or multi-location billing operations
- Full‑time, Monday–Friday day schedule
- Fully onsite role in a professional office environment
