  • Deliver competency-based education that aligns with CHCP's curriculum model and supports the organization's instructional delivery system.
  • Design and implement instructional plans that meet course competencies and objectives, ensuring excellence in both residential and blended delivery methods.
  • Facilitate student achievement by fostering competencies and establishing clear performance criteria and evaluation standards.
  • Create a learning-centered environment that promotes student engagement and success through effective planning and preparation.
  • Provide consistent, constructive feedback to students, including comprehensive mid‑term evaluations and tailored support for struggling students.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in teaching style and schedule to accommodate diverse student needs and promote success.
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and reports, while adhering to academic and attendance policies.
  • Actively participate in faculty, departmental, and school‑wide meetings to contribute to the institution's goals and initiatives.
  • Engage in campus service by participating in at least one special project committee annually.
  • Incorporate professional and industry experience into the curriculum by staying current with trends and opportunities in pharmacy technology.
  • Address program‑related questions and attend Program Advisory Committee meetings to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the institution's mission and objectives.
  • National Certified Pharmacy Technician, State Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Registered Pharmacist certification (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacist, or 3 years of experience with an associate's degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in IV sterile compounding and experience in hospital settings.
  • Teaching or training experience (preferred).
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry standards and practices.
