Food Safety Manager​/Osha Manager

Taxco Produce is looking for a Food Safety & OSHA Manager responsible for ensuring food is handled, stored, and maintained safely to prevent contamination and foodborne illness, while also overseeing workplace safety and compliance with occupational safety regulations.

• Ensure proper sanitation and cleaning practices
• Train employees on food safety procedures and standards
• Maintain temperature logs and food safety records
• Prepare for health inspections and audits
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations

• Prevent workplace injuries and accidents
• Conduct employee safety training programs
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
• Maintain safety documentation and reports
• Perform workplace hazard assessments
• Manage PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and emergency procedures

• Experience in food safety and workplace safety management
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and food safety standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to train and lead employees effectively
• Experience in warehouse, produce, or food distribution environments preferred
