- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in home‑based settings.
- Support skill development related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, play, self‑care, daily routines, and functional independence.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to support meaningful outcomes.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on proper use and integration into daily routines.
- Partner closely with parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals and strategies at home.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child‑centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Occupational Therapy license, OT/L, in Texas.
- Pediatric experience (preferred, but not required).
- Home health experience (plus).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families.
- A compassionate, dependable, and detail‑oriented approach to care.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with positioning, transfers, and therapeutic activities as needed.
