Position:
Surgical Technologist (Weekdays only, no holidays, weekends, nights or calls)
- Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
- Prepares supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center.
- Participates in quality improvement activities.
- High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent education and experience.
- Certification as required by state and/or center.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage patients and coordinate with physicians.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
- Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
