This contract position is designed for professionals eager to support a diverse student population in a rewarding, part-time role for the school year. Your assignment begins in early August and continues through late May, providing structured, predictable hours while allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, you'll benefit from guaranteed weekly hours and receive compensation for both direct and indirect services. Your focus will remain entirely on supporting student communication needs- there are no additional non-clinical duties such as bus or parent pick-up responsibilities. Travel therapists are also eligible for stipends.
Ideal candidates bring experience in schools and have, or are seeking, their SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential. Fluency in English and Spanish, and a passion for serving bilingual populations, is highly valued.
Qualifications:- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY designation
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy for K-8 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings as needed
- Deliver services within designated contracted hours
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
