We are seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a new ABA practice opening in DFW. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs tailored to individual client needs. This position requires strong leadership skills to supervise clinical staff, alongside a compassionate approach to partnering with families. You must be comfortable working with families directly, not just clients, to ensure consistent program implementation and wrap-around support.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive behavioral and functional assessments (such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or similar tools) to identify skill deficits and target behaviors.
- Program Development: Write, run, design, update, and implement individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans centered on positive reinforcement for your assigned caseload.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide high-quality supervision, training, and regular mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCaBAs, which includes a regular and systematic review of their session data.
- Team Development: Train and mentor other BCBAs as the clinical team grows to foster professional advancement and clinical excellence.
- Family
Collaboration:
Run parent training sessions and keep families consistently in the loop, establishing strong collaborative relationships with families directly. - Data-Driven Analysis: Monitor, graph, and analyze behavioral data regularly to evaluate client progress and modify interventions effectively.
- Regulatory & Billing Compliance: Ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely documentation needed for insurance and Medicaid billing. Maintain precise clinical documentation, treatment logs, and progress reports in strict accordance with insurance and ethical guidelines.
- Audit Readiness: Must ensure any and all clinical and billing audits are passed completely without exceptions.
- Certification: Active and current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- State Licensure: Active license as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas (required—no exceptions).
- Medicaid Enrollment: Must be eligible for Texas Medicaid provider enrollment.
- National Provider Identifier: Must possess an active NPI number.
- Education: Hold a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Education, or a closely related human services field.
- Clinical
Experience:
Proven professional experience developing and supervising formal ABA treatment programs.
- Supervision
Skills:
Strong clinical supervision frameworks with the ability to effectively coach, evaluate, and inspire direct-care staff. - Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills utilized for high-touch family collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Ethical Standards: Absolute commitment to maintaining the BACB Ethics Code and upholding client privacy and data security.
