Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR
Location:
Dallas, TX
Shift: (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Duration: 3 Months (Possible extension)
Pay Rate:
To be discussed on call
Job Description:
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
- Level I trauma center, 29 ORs across 2 buildings – 4 Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical Systems, 2 Endovascular ORs, 2 Cardiothoracic ORs, 1 Brain Suite, 2 Trauma ORs, 1 Cystoscopy
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provide great patient care.
Requirement:
- Must have at least 2 year's of relevant experience.
- BLS – AHA.
- Must have Certified Surgical Tech Certification.
